On RivEthics this weekend, Dr. Steve Ogan delves into the spiritual significance of celebrating Jubilee as he talks on the topic: Jubilee Instructions For Rivers People.
Given that the year 2017 is our Jubilee Year as a people and the month of May is our Jubilee Month, since Rivers State was created on this 27th of May, almost 50 years ago, in a few days time; we are, therefore, dedicating the month of May to speak on different aspects of the Jubilee Celebration especially drawing from biblical injunctions and models.
This special edition is to usher in the glorious Month of May, our Jubilee Month.
We do hope that, as we celebrate, we shall also do what is expected of us as a people in order to draw from the benefits of experiencing this Jubilee.
